Nigerian email scam / fraud

There have been numerous incidents about people loosing money to scam emails or message saying that they have won Millions of Dollar. Come on you cannot become rich overnight; these mails are generally sent by the people from Nigeria. Modus operandi is to send mails to random people saying that they have won money or there is some unattended cash in their name. Then if somebody replies to them, they start contacting the person. They ask the person to pay money, thinking that they will get huge sum of money they give the money asked by them. Later they realize that they were cheated. So my humble request is not to reply to any mail from strangers, especially when the subject of the mail mentions any kind of prize money announcement.
